Thankful November 21

A mini horse nose
Best Boop

Today, I am remembering Cracker Jack. Hands down he was the most curious little horse checking me and my camera out.

Even though it has been three years since he booped me, I am ever thankful for this moment. I am grateful I was able to take photos of the Minis and Friends South Plains, a nonprofit organization here in Texas.

Their mission is simple – they visit the places of the forgotten people in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, to other places. When these mini horses enter a room, smiles return, hearts become happy, and these forgotten people matter again in that moment with these noses.

Today, I am thankful for Cracker Jack, Buttercup, and the other Minis who bring smiles to many forgotten people.
